As the President of BALI club for the past two years and a Member of the Club for three, getting to see the growth of Yayasan LMU and The Suwandi Foundation as a whole has been the most incredible gift. Education became a passion of mine in high school when I saw what a significant impact the dedication of my teachers was making on my academic and personal growth. I was fortunate enough to attend a school where my love of learning and sense of global citizenship was fostered, and I want to give the students at Yayasan LMU the same passion and drive to learn that I was gifted. When I travelled to Bali to teach at the Yayasan this summer, I saw how excited and motivated the students were to learn. Their enthusiasm toward learning was nothing I had ever seen from kids their age. We take our access to education for granted too often, and seeing how much they truly wanted to learn has made me even more motivated to help provide them with access to a well-rounded and impactful education. Please join me in working towards seeing such an incredible project come to life. A little money goes a long way, and the kids deserve every penny.
