Salam semuanya! We are excited to announce our fundraising initiative for the students at Yayasan LMU, a non profit organization focused on facilitating educational opportunities for underprivileged students in Bali. Our goal is to raise money to help this organization afford teacher development programs, build a new playground for the kids to have a safe space to have fun, and supply the students with academic resources.

About Lions for Bali!!

My name is Annie Frame and I'm a freshman Health and Human Sciences major at Loyola Marymount University where this foundation was born. I taught English with the Suwandi Foundation this past February for 5 weeks during my gap year. Meeting all the kids in Tulamben was an unforgettable experience and I'm so excited to stay connected and help progress their education in any way possible!
My name is Julien Herard. I am a sophomore and undeclared science major at Loyola Marymount University. I had the opportunity to not only teach English for this program for three weeks but I also worked on a research project focused on helping Balinese students develop their social and self-directed learning skills through peer advocacy to address the disparities with their school system. I learned a lot about the role of leadership in education on how it can go a long way in shaping the livelihood of others and the discipline that is required to make this happen.
